Baraka's clinical lead Elham Zolfagharinia, RCC, ACS completed the graduate certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy through Vancouver Island University — Canada's leading academic program in this emerging field. She now offers preparation and integration counselling for clients engaging psychedelic medicine in legal therapeutic contexts.
Important scope notes:
- We provide preparation and integration counselling, not the medicine session itself
- We do not provide, prescribe, or supply any controlled substance
- We work with clients participating in legal frameworks (Health Canada-authorized clinical trials, Special Access Program approvals, regulated ketamine-assisted therapy programs in BC)
- For clients participating in non-legal contexts, we offer harm-reduction-informed integration work but cannot facilitate or endorse the medicine session itself
Sessions: 60 minutes at $160. Most clients book a series of preparation sessions before a medicine experience, and a series of integration sessions after, often combined with broader individual therapy.
