Immigrant Settlement Coaching
Settlement coaching for newcomers to Canada. Practical navigation of credentialing, career, family, and identity. English & Farsi. $140 / 50 min.

For newcomers to Canada navigating the practical work of building a life — credentialing, career, housing, family, identity. Distinct from therapy, focused on the practical and forward.
Immigrant Settlement Coaching at Baraka is forward-looking, action-oriented work for adults in their first years in Canada. It complements therapy (or stands alone for clients who don't need therapy) and focuses on the practical: foreign credential evaluation and bridging, job-search strategy, housing decisions, navigating Canadian institutions and bureaucracy, raising bicultural children, and the slow architectural work of building a Canadian life that is actually yours.
Our coaches have lived this work themselves. Elham immigrated from Iran in 2014 and has walked the path our coaching describes — including professional recredentialing as an RCC.
(See also: our therapy page for newcomers to Canada and Iranian Immigrants page for the deeper psychological work that often runs in parallel with settlement coaching.)
Sessions: 50 minutes at $140. Engagements typically run 8–16 sessions across the first year of settlement.
In person and online, English and Farsi.
